Air Jordan IV

The Air Jordan IV was released in 1989, following the release of the first three models. Just like the last Air Jordan model, this shoe was also designed by Tinker Hatfield. What made the Jordan IV unique from the others was the the strap on the shoe, making nearly impossible for Micheal to roll and injure his ankle. Micheal had one of his best seasons in the fourth signature shoe. Averaging 32 points a game, being named a NBA all-star, all defensive team, and being on the all NBA team although he did not win a championship. One of the big moments for the Air Jordan IV was when Jordan hit a buzzer beating shot against the Cleveland Cavilers in a win or go home situation. There was also a scene in Spike Lee's film "Do the right thing" where a teenager scuffed his $100 Air Jordan sneakers. There were many Jordan color ways, and some people would rank them as on of the top shoe of all time.
