Air Jordan V
The Nike Air Jordan V was first released in 1990. Following the coaching replacement from Doug Collins to Phil Jackson, the Jordan V was born. Designed by Tinker Hatfield had added new and innovative features to the shoe. The 5th shoe was modeled after a World War 2 mustang fighter jet. A very noticeable and fan favorite element was the shark teeth on the toe of the shoe. Speckled with paint splatter the feature had added a fresh new look no other shoe had at the time. It was also the first Jordan sneaker to have a clear sole, and reflective tongue and lace locks. Adding the signature "Jumpman"logo to the heel of the shoe topped everything off perfectly. While wearing the Jordan V, Mike had many accolades throughout the season. Leading his team to a franchise best 55-27. He had a career high 69 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Also taking home first team NBA, all star, first team all defense, and the scoring title accolades all in one season!
