Air Jordan Ill
The Air Jordan lll was released in 1988 following the success of the 1 and 2 models. When Micheal Jordan participated in the 1988 slam dunk competition. Where he wore the first Air Jordan 3 model, "White cement". Designed by Tinker Hatfeld, the Air Jordan lll was featured with tumbled leather and the very innovative "elephant print". This shoe become so iconic because of Micheal Jordans world famous free throw line dunk. The Jordan lll had multiple different color ways, but as usual the first color way was to match the Chicago Bulls uniform. This shoe was also the first Air Jordan model to feature the iconic jump an logo of Micheal Jordan, not to mention the first to have a visible air unit in the bottom of the shoe. Every shoe after this one was released featured Micheal Jordans logo, making the shoe very easy to identify. For the commercial of the Jordan, they had famous actor and director Spike Lee in one of his commercials as Mars Blackmon. One of his most favorite line is the commercial for why Mikw played so well was "Its gotta be the shoes". Hinting at if you wore these shoes you will play extremely well.
